About TWSave

Our Mission

TWSave is a free, web-based tool that helps people save public Twitter and X content they are legally allowed to keep a copy of — such as their own tweets, memes, reaction videos, breaking-news clips, and inspiration for personal reference. We believe that media you already see in your timeline should be accessible for offline viewing, personal archives, and educational use.

Our goal is to provide a simple, fast, and privacy-respecting downloader that works on any device without requiring software installation, account registration, or personal information.

What We Offer

TWSave supports downloading from a wide range of Twitter/X content types:

  • Videos: Download in the highest quality the original tweet offers, up to 1080p or 4K.
  • Images: Save photos at original resolution without watermarks.
  • GIFs: Convert and save animated GIFs as playable MP4 files.
  • Multi-image tweets: Full support for tweets that contain multiple photos.

How It Works

TWSave uses Twitter's public metadata endpoints, the same ones used by the official Twitter embed feature. When you paste a URL, we fetch the public tweet metadata, extract the media URLs, and stream them directly to your device. No files are stored on our servers, no accounts are required, and no browsing history is kept.

Privacy First

We take privacy seriously. TWSave does not:

  • Require users to log in or create an account.
  • Store tweet URLs you submit or the files you download.
  • Track individual user behavior or build user profiles.
  • Sell or share data with advertisers beyond standard anonymized analytics.

For full details, please read our Privacy Policy.

Responsible Use

TWSave is intended for personal, non-commercial use and for downloading content you have the right to save. Redistributing content owned by other creators without permission may violate copyright law and Twitter's Terms of Service. If you are a copyright holder and wish to request removal, please see our DMCA policy.
